Mac text replay
Optional corrections for Mac text replay.
On Mac, use optional corrections only after normal text replay works. Test in a safe field first, then decide whether the visible correction path helps your demo or training flow.
1. Test clean replay first
Grant macOS permissions, restart the app, save one short snippet, and replay it with corrections off. If clean replay does not work, fix focus, permissions, or hotkey setup before testing corrections.
2. Enable corrections for visible workflows
Correction behavior is most useful when the entry process itself is part of what someone is watching: a product demo, training clip, support example, or writing walkthrough.
3. Review the field after replay
Humanized Autotyper is built around prepared snippets, but you should still review the final field before using the text. This is especially important in live docs, support replies, and customer-facing forms.
When to leave corrections off
If you are entering private notes, internal data, repeated QA text, or anything where speed matters more than visible delivery, leave corrections off and use paced typing or normal paste.
Useful for demos and examples
Corrections are most useful when people are watching: product demos, training clips, support reply examples, form testing, and writing walkthroughs. For private notes, keep correction behavior off and use simpler paced typing.
Common correction questions
Does the app leave errors behind? The goal is to end with the saved text you wanted. Can you use it without corrections? Yes. Can timing and corrections be paired? Yes, presets and correction behavior work together.
