On Mac, set up paced typing by testing permissions first, using Medium in a plain field, then slowing down only for demos, recordings, or fields that need more time.
1. Confirm the basic Mac setup first
Random delay will not help if permissions or focus are wrong. Enable Accessibility and Input Monitoring, restart the app, save a short test sentence, and confirm normal replay works in a plain Mac text field.
2. Start with Medium
Medium is the best baseline because it is easy to see without being painfully slow. Move to Slow for screen recordings and walkthroughs. Move to Fast only after the destination field reliably keeps up.
3. Test the real field with short text
Try the actual browser, document, CRM, or notes field with one short line before using a full paragraph. If a rich editor misses characters, slow the preset before changing anything else.
Random delay should still be controlled
